We invite families, friends, and neighbours to come together for a day of fun, connection, and community. Enjoy games, crafts, activities for all ages, and delicious food in a welcoming space where everyone can create lasting summer memories!

Community Seniors' Circle

Thursdays 10AM- 11:30AM

Our Summer Seniors Program is bringing the community together every Thursday at The ARC (3006–119 Ave) starting at 10 AM!

Created for seniors, by seniors, this program celebrates connection, friendship, and community involvement. Each week features a new activity. And of course, there’s always coffee, treats, and great conversations waiting for you!

We’re grateful to announce that this project is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.

English Language Learning Clubs

From July 6th to August 13th

Build your confidence in English through listening, conversation, grammar practice, shared reading, current news discussions, and engaging activities. Improve your communication skills in a friendly, supportive space while learning through movies, real-life situations, and everyday interactions.
  • Basic Listening: Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Basic Grammar: Mondays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Join us in a joyful space designed for families with young children to learn and explore together in a fun and welcoming environment. Each week offers hands-on activities like messy play, STEM, music, risky play, and social-emotional learning that support curiosity and early development.

Music Explorers!

Tuesdays from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

CANDORA in partnership with MusiCounts created a FREE space where youth ages 8–12 can discover and enjoy music in a creative, hands-on way.
 
From singing and rhythm to instruments and movement, each session encourages exploration and self-expression!

Get support during your pregnancy and up to two months postpartum. Connect with community supports, discover tools for baby care and parenting, and receive grocery coupons and prenatal vitamins at CANDORA (#218 3210- 118 Avenue, Edmonton). Your Support Goes a Long Way

CANDORA honestly has good programs and its greatest strength is given by its employees (I have personal experience). They are people who are always willing to help and provide support to people who need it.
We have seven kids and live in a very small house. CANDORA helped us apply for new low-income housing in the community and eventually, we were granted a home!
My child has improved so much in learning her alphabet, identifying vegetables, and fruits and colours. Her communication skills have significantly improved. Great work Preschool staff.
CANDORA is an organization that helps newcomers gain confidence and develop themselves. I have noticed my improvements; now I go alone to the supermarket and can ask questions and buy what I need for me and my family.
